Prospective students must complete a school application form and provide proof of either graduation from high school or completion of GED requirements. They must also present themselves for a personal interview, or attend a school information seminar .
Academic progress is measured by evaluating the student's class participation, class presentations, role-playing and examinations. To graduate, a student must obtain a grade of 75 or better on each examination.
The school's academic program is built on class participation. Regular class attendance is essential for each student and for the class as a whole. Excessive absence or tardiness will not be tolerated.
Students who want to receive tutoring help in particular subjects should make arrangements with the Director. Tutoring sessions are held at the Academy. The charge for the service is $15.00 per hour.
Bolack Total Travel Academy expects students to conduct themselves as mature, responsible adults. Failure to abide by Academy policies and procedures, or to abide by accepted codes of conduct, maybe grounds for disciplinary action.
Students who successfully meet all of their academic, financial and contractual obligations receive Certificates of Graduation at the end of the course.
As changes occur in the travel industry, the Academy's curriculum will of course be modified to reflect those changes. Consequently, the Academy reserves the right to revise its travel training program at any time. Curriculum, scheduling, faculty staffing and tuition are all subject to change. However, we ensure that no program changes will adversely affect any currently enrolled student.
